Hi everyone!
After taking MPH 632, I've realized that the threat of climate change is extremely terrifying. What I find most troubling about climate change is its impact on vegetation, which will eventually lead to food shortages in many areas of the world. As I enter the public health field, it's important that I spread education about the effects of climate change within both my social and professional circles. However, in my opinion, legislation to create major environmental changes in the coming years should be the absolute priority for public health professionals right now. The threat of misinformation lies everywhere, even within some of my own social circles; for this, I would prescribe peer-reviewed, scientific research to stimulate the brain (just a little bit).
